

Sandi K. Peaslee, age 78, of Salem, MA, passed away on March 31, 2016 of pancreatic cancer. Beloved daughter of the late Prof. Stanley V. Kinyon and Marian Stebbins Kinyon of Minneapolis, MN, she leaves her husband of 46 years, Donald Peaslee of Salem, and her daughter, Brenda Spevak of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by her brother, atty. Richard S. Kinyon of San Francisco and his wife Elizabeth, and his son and daughter-in-law, John and Schena Kinyon of El Sobrante, CA, and son, Joseph of Fairfield, CA.
For thirty years Mrs. Peaslee was well known in New England for the prize winning choral and theory groups she conducted and taught at Lexington High School. In her retirement she was very active in her garden, played piano for both choral accompaniment and frequent gigs, and was on the board of the Marblehead Conservancy.
As a tribute to her memory, several of her students from the ‘70’s and ‘80’s will present a large choral concert at Lexington High School on Sunday, April 10 at 3 o’clock. For ticket and other information please see www.sandipeasleeconcert.com.
A Memorial Service will also take place on Saturday, April 30 at 11AM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead, 28 Mugford Street, Marblehead, MA.
