William S. Bailey Jr.

William “Bill” S. Bailey Jr., 71, of Haverhill, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017, with his son by his side at High Point Hospice House. He leaves behind; William Bailey and his wife Victoria Hernandez-Bailey; their two children William and Devin Bailey; his daughter Elizabeth Bailey and her daughter Melinda, and a fourth grandchild, Michael.

Born and raised in Marblehead, MA, son of William and Margaret Bailey, Bill enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1963 serving two terms until 1967. He was employed by Coca-Cola for thirty-five years and was a life member of the VFW in Marblehead.

Visitation will be held at the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead on Thursday, September 7 beginning at 10:30AM followed by a graveside service with honors at Waterside Cemetery, 294 West Shore Drive, Marblehead at 12PM. The family would like to invite all attending to a celebration of life for Bill at the Marblehead VFW immediately following the services. The Bailey family would like to open their home on Friday any time after 12:00PM for those who cannot attend the services on Thursday who wants to pay their respects. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation is made in William’s name to Toys for Tots by Marines at www.toysfortots.org.
