Ann was born June 20, 1933 in Georgia to Carl and Velma (Sanders) Kraeplin. On May 12, 1956 she married Kenneth G. Stein in Elmhurst.
Ann was a member of the Marengo United Methodist Church, where she took part in prayer groups with her church family. She enjoyed gardening, camping, cooking, and spending time with her family. Ann was a sweet lady and was loved by all who met her.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Linda (David) Wingate and Lori (Shawn) Zimmerman; and her grandchildren, Erik and Alison Zimmerman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; and her brother, Fred Kraeplin.
