George T. Miller

George T. Miller, 57, of Marengo, passed away January 18, 2018 in Huntley. Born July 4, 1960 in Pontiac, MI; he was the son of Emanueal and Nancy (Bright) Miller. He married Kathi Jackson on May 18, 1985 in Waterford, MI.

A strong union man, George was a member of Local 681.

He enjoyed muscle cars (Chevrolet’s), being outdoors, music, attending car shows and looking for that next find (Chevy’s).

George was a man who loved Jesus and his family. He loved giving to anyone in need because he had such a huge and giving heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include the love of his life and best friend, Kathi Miller; daughter, Melissa Miller; grandsons, Camron and Jose; brothers, Emanueal (Kim), Jeffrey (Trish), Noel (Kim) and Joseph Miller; sisters, Lania Gibson, Sue (Rodney) Kilts, Nancy Miller and Lana “Sissy” Gregory; sisters-in-law, Kristina Porter and Lisa Dingman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, brother, Cecil Miller; and cherished mother and father-in-law, Jenney Miller and Virgil Apley.

A Celebration of his life will take place on January 22, 2018 at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo. Visitation 3 until 5:30 p.m. with Celebration to follow at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
