John H. Kelly Jr.

John was a plumbing inspector for McHenry County and the City of Marengo. He also owned Kelly's Plumbing, and was known as the "singing plumber." He was always funny and generous to those around him. He was a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. John would also only accept a pizza if it was pie-cut!

He is survived by his children, Tara (Marc) Melilli, Caitlynn Kelly, Colin Kelly, and Maggie Kelly; his mother, Joyce Kelly; his partner, Cindy Magee and her children, Emily, Joe, and Marissa; and his siblings, Joanne Kelly and Karen Woodson.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his cousin, Jerry.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6821 Main St., Union. Visitation will continue from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., on Monday, November 17, at the church. The service will be at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Union.
