Laginncya "Ginny" Allen

Ginny was a dedicated machine operator at Hansen Plastics. Her work was a testament to her commitment and skill.

She married Bobby Allen on October 18, 1993, and together they built a loving family. Ginny is survived by her husband, Bobby Allen; her twin sons, Alexander W. Allen and Andrew S. (Emily) Allen; her granddaughter, Sofia L. Murphree; her siblings, Denise Greene, Faron Greene, and Jerry (Billie) Greene; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Carla Greene, Deanna Greene, and Rebecca Greene.

Ginny had a passion for fishing and enjoyed watching crime shows and horror movies. She adored kittens and loved riding her bicycle. Ginny was also fond of Coca-cola and her favorite snacks, especially candy, cheese, and chocolate. Above all, she loved her family, and time spent with them was most important to her.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, located at 505 East Grant Highway, Marengo, IL 60152, on October 25, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at the same location at 1:00 pm.

Ginny's warmth and dedication to her family and interests will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
