Naomi J. Adams, 85, of Marengo, Illinois, passed away on April 12, 2022. She was born to Chris and Amelia Grasmick on October 22, 1936 in Gering, Nebraska. She was married to Richard Adams on November 14, 1958 until his passing in 2004.
Naomi is survived by her sons Jerry Adams of Cambridge, WI, Paul Adams of Cary, IL, siblings Don Grasmick (Joyce), Judie Bevins, and Barbara Pauley, grandchildren Mikel, Megan, Ryan, Caitlyn, Kyle and Jack.
She was preceded in death by both her parents and husband.
Naomi loved spending time with her family and friends, which included playing games, watching sporting events, and just hanging out. She was an active member of Marengo’s United Methodist Church and would participate in community events. She had a great sense of humor and would enjoy a good practical joke. She was a very active person and loved to be on the go. She will be dearly missed by everyone she knew.
Service will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 4pm, with visitation beforehand beginning at 2pm at the United Methodist Church at 119 E. Washington St., Marengo, IL 60152. Reception will follow.
