Ruth E. Below, age 96, of Marengo, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.

She was born January 22, 1927, the daughter of Ardna and Herman Kastning.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arnold Below, her son David Below, and six of her siblings.

Loving grandma to Kristen Cialdella (Ryan) and David Below (Brooke). Loving great grandmother, or Gigi as they called her to Noah, Connor, and Liam Cialdella. Cherished sister of Dolores (Tom) Driver. Adored Aunt Ruthie to many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation from 9 to 11am on Thursday, April 13 at Zion Lutheran Church, 412 Jackson St., Marengo. The service will follow at 11am.

Interment will be in Highland Garden of Memories in Belvidere.
