Barbara is survived by her husband, Anthony. She also leaves behind her 8 children; son Anthony Triola and his wife Cathy, son Michael Triola, daughter Barbara A. Mugnano and husband John (deceased) daughter Dora Settembre and husband Sal, daughter Pamela Tumino and husband Salvatore, daughter Tammy Walter, daughter Vickie Grayson and husband Jason and son Neil Triola and spouse Sylvia.
Barbara loved all of her 26 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by her sister Judy and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins- as well as a community of others who grieve the loss of this vivacious, talented, beautiful, nurturing and strong woman.
Barbara was born the 12th of July 1940, to Cornelius and Anne McGinley in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She married Anthony Triola in 1956 and celebrated the birth of their first son in 1957.
Barbara was a hard worker and managed to earn her LPN License while still raising her large family. She enjoyed working at the hospital and made lifelong friends there. Her family came first, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. Barbara always saw the good in everything and everyone she met. The world is a better place because she was in it.
Barbara impacted too many lives to list. She was a powerhouse of energy – a warrior of spirit. But more than anything else, Barbara was a person of action, and her actions were always driven from a place of love. Her loss is devastating to all those who knew her because to know her was to love her.
Memorial Services will take place this Saturday, January 21st 2023 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery at 12:30 pm. 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
