Gardner H. (Butch) Jordan, 75, of Margate, passed away in Hospice at Holy Cross Hospital from cancer on October 7, 2013. He was born in Racine, WI and came to Fort Lauderdale in 1947. Graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School in 1956. Served time in the United States Air Force. Was an aircraft mechanic in his early years, before joining the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department. Married to his wife of 54 years, Betsy (Pfaff) Jordan and raised two wonderful children. Predeceased by his mother, Florence Jordan. Survived by son, Scott (Patty) Jordan, and daughter, Robin (Jeff) Butcher, and two grandsons, William and Sean Jordan, and a grandpup, Barbie, sister, Rosemary (Fred) Chancey, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
