Jeanette Mary Perretty

Jeanette Mary (Jan) Perretty, 75 passed away peacefully in her home on October 4, 2014. Jan was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 16, 1939. She graduated from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee in 1957. She moved to Margate, Florida with her family in 1970. Jan was a dedicated mother who coached her children through Margate Blue Devils, Girl Scouts, and Margate Khoury league. She was compassionate, giving and always put the needs of others before her own. Her positive affect through her involvement with the youth in the community was far reaching and all encompassing. She was the "Mother on the sideline" who was always looking out for the kids. Jan was employed by American Express in Fort Lauderdale for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by parents Evelyn and Arthur Felber, and sister Dorothy Borowski. Jan is survived by her beloved four children; Laura (Dale) White of Knoxville TN, Jim (Jeanne) Perretty of Delray Beach, Michael Perretty of Coral Springs, and Christopher Perretty of Margate. Her six cherished grandchildren; Samantha and JT Perretty, Michael, Zachary and Madison Perretty, and Nicholas White, as well as her furry companions Freddy and Muffin. She also leaves behind numerous loved nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 from 5:00-7:00pm with a service following at 7:00pm at Kraeer Funeral Home at 1 North State Road 7, Margate, Florida 33063.
