Joan M. Schaefer

Joan was born in Buffalo, NY, Erie County on February 7, 1934. She graduated and received her high school diploma from Lafayette High School. Then, on Saturday, September 20, 1958, she was married to Norman J. Schaefer at the Annunciation Church. Joan worked in management in the banking industry for over 35 years. She had a passion for her family and the Lord Jesus Christ. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, floral arrangement, playing pinochle, board games and crossword puzzles.

Joan was survived by her son William (Bill) F. Schaefer, son Robert (Bob) L. Schaefer and spouse Kathleen (Kathy) A. Schaefer (nee Eggert), daughter Jeanne M. Schaefer (late) Daniel (Dan) E. Schaefer. She is survived by grandchildren Rebecca M. Schaefer, Bernerd J. Schaefer and spouse Rachel Schaefer (nee Berecka), and grandsons Thomas M. Schaefer, and Gavin T. Schaefer.

Joan was also survived by her great grandchildren Jacob (Jake) A. Kirk, Elizabeth (Lizzy) Kirk. Then, her late brother James R. Dawson and her sister Patricia A. Erickson (nee Dawson).

Funeral arrangements will be held at Acacia Park Cemetery in North Tonawanda, New York, in Fall of the year 2022 at Acacia Park Cemetery Chapel.
