In Loving Memory
Thelma Ethel Henderson passed away peacefully on September 17, 2019, in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.
Mrs Henderson is longtime resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she resided with her family in the South Florida where she and her husband followed several years later and has since remained.
A devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Henderson was adventurous and loved camping and Scouting, the Florida Key, and snow skiing. Thelma and her husband, Jim, spent a dream vacation touring Alaska in a motorhome. Thelma lovingly cared for her husband, James Henderson, and her two sons, James and Randel Henderson. Having a fondness for children, Thelma’s devotion to family and family bonds were evident in her relationships with her sons, grandchildren, and great–grandchildren.
Thelma is survived by her two sons, James Henderson and his wife, Pat, and Randel Henderson and his wife, Angela, who reside in Florida. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Traci Fleming and her husband Bruce, who reside in North Carolina, and Kristin Chism and her husband, Jeff, who reside in Texas. Also, her grandson Jason Henderson and his wife, Shelby, who are Florida Residents. Thelma is also survived by her sister, Margaret, who resides in Texas. Thelma leaves a total of 9 great–grandchildren: Elijah, Anna, Jude, and Lucy Fleming, Elyse, Paige, Owen Chism, and Regan and Deven Henderson.
A celebration of Thelma’s Life will be held on Saturday October 12,2019. At her Eldest son Jim home’s 1264 West River Drive, Margate, Florida. The time is from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. For more information and to R.S.V.P. call Pat (Jim’s wife) at 954-494-3622
