

Born in 1933 and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Agnes was the daughter of the late Frank and Agnes Spears. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Leon Lineback, and her sons, Mark Lineback and William (Bill) Lineback.
She is survived by her brother, Fred Spears (Sarah); children, Charles Leon Lineback III (Nancy), Pamela Lineback Hardie (Wayne), Lori Lineback McCoy (Mac), Sharon Lineback Peters (Tim), and daughter-in-law Pam Parris Lineback; Grandchildren, Leslie and Chase Lineback, Ginny, Amanda, and Michael Lineback, Christopher and Ryan Lineback, Robert and Melisa Hardie, Mac III and Thomas McCoy, and Christian and Erin Peters; and great-grandchildren, Reid, Hayes, Spears, Charlie, Liam, Carson, Jax, Presley, Ember, Giselle, Juliet, Hazel, Levi, Brooklyn, Madeline, and Lil Mac IV. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
After marrying Charles, Agnes (aka Ginger) made her home in Woodstock, Georgia, where she lovingly raised six children and lived for more than 50 years. She will be remembered for her deep faith, her devotion to her family, and her gift of bringing people together—especially through the family gatherings she so enjoyed hosting. Her love, strength, and kindness touched everyone who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Mayes Ward Dobbins Historic Marietta Chapel (180 Church St NE, Marietta). Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Graveside service to follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park (1306 Whitlock Ave. SW, Marietta).
