

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Chapel in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born and raised In Miami Florida. She met her husband Bill and he proposed on VJ Day.
They moved to Marietta and raised their children. She was a Stay at home mom and was the matriarch of the family. She was a loving and caring mother and was very proud of all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid Braves fan and started watching them on TV in the 1970’s. From Hank Aaron to Freddie Freeman. She also loved playing poker with the family and our yearly vacations to the lake and Florida. She was a member of East Side Baptist church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary post 29.
Survivor include two daughters, Susan Christian and Marie Risley; four grandchildren, David, Christine, Michael, and Billy; four great-great grandchildren, Jordan, Lance, Austin, and Aiden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Blevins and her son, Robbie Blevins. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Edna Aylor.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta.
