Mrs. Glenda Gregory Wood, age 66, of Austell, GA died Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 23rd in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Justin Rader officiating. Interment will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood was a lifelong resident of Cobb County. She worked as an executive secretary at I.B.M. for 15 years. Mrs. Wood was a member of Smyrna First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Wood is survived by her husband, David Wood of Austell, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Jennifer Greene of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Sean Merritt of Marietta, GA; sister, Sandra Ward of Marietta, GA; one grandchild, Madison Greene.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Friday, August 22nd at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta, GA (770) 424-4924.
