Henrietta Southard, 89 of Kennesaw, died Monday, June 4, 2012. A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta. Dr. Tolbert Moore and Dr. Rex McPherson will be officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. Henrietta was a Cleveland, GA native and lifelong Georgia resident. She was a member of Kennesaw First Baptist Church and along with her husband were owners and operators of the Eagle Café in the 1950’s. She retired from Dunaway Drugs in the 1980’s. She is preceded by her husband, Joe M. Southard. Survivors include one daughter, Dr. Delores Jo Prakopcyk of Kennesaw.
