Jacqueline Pharris, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, at age 88,
sadly left our world to be with our wonderful Savior and her heavenly family. She passed away
surrounded by family at bedside.
Jacqueline was born in Miami, Florida but grew up and lived most of her life in Atlanta, Georgia.
She is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mary Lou Phillips of Atlanta, Georgia, and her
late husband of 37 years, Charles Pharris.
Jacqueline was very successful as the Southern Administrator of ABC News, opening the Miami
and Dallas-Fort Worth bureaus. She met the love of her life, Charles (Chuck) who was an ABC
News Cameraman based in the Atlanta bureau. After marrying Charles, they moved to
Arlington, Texas where Charles was transferred, and she retired to become a homemaker.
Jacqueline is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Renee Fuller and her husband David, of
Lilburn; Jolie Atherton and her husband John, of Villa Rica; two sons, Daniel Deutsch Bonner
and his wife Cindy, of Cartersville; Charles Paul Pharris, Jr. and his wife Kym, of Azle, Texas;
nine grandchildren, Christopher Fuller and wife Wendy; Ashley Atherton Ayers and husband
Alex; Charles and Mark Atherton; Lindsey and Curtis Bonner; Connor Pharris; Carson Pharris
and wife Molly, and Carlee Pharris; and two great grandchildren, Baron Atherton Ayers and
Joseph Bradley Fuller.
