

He was born in Alliance, Ohio to Raymond and Nancy (Constable) Ball March 7, 1942. During his 50 years in Cobb County he was involved as a Boy/Cub Scout leader, soccer coach, Church lector, USCG Auxiliarist, CERT and 9.12 patriotic group. He was an aeronautical engineer with a degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and retired from Lockheed after 30 years of service. He had a lifelong love of airplanes, boats, outdoor adventures and was an expert woodworker.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jackie, and sons John, Jeff (Cori), James (Jodie), Jason (Melissa), eleven grandchildren, his sister Linda Wentworth (John), niece and two nephews.
Visitation will be held at Mayes-Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta on Monday March 7 from 5-7 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday March 8 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
