Jolene L. Condra

Jolene L. Condra, 74, of Marietta, died December 23, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2012, in the Chapel of Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Marietta, with Pastor Tony Prinsen officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta.

Jolene Landgraff Condra was born December 2, 1938 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The daughter of Ruth (Petschauer) Landgraff and Alfred Landgraff, she grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin. After graduating from Wausau High School she went to work for the airline industry. She worked for Eastern Airlines for thirty years. At the beginning of her career she lived in Chicago.

She moved to Atlanta in 1962 where she met her husband of forty nine years, Guy Condra. They were married in Peachtree Road Lutheran Church in December of 1963. Jolene and Guy moved to Nashville where they had the first of three children, their son, Scott. They moved back to Atlanta where they had two more children, their daughter, Cindy and son, Craig.

Jolene was a proud grandma of her three grandchildren. She loved taking care of her family. She was a top notch chef who was always improving her skills with cooking classes and cookbooks. She will always be remembered for her unique sense of style, her sassy demeanor and her memorable laugh. Jolene was a member of First United Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Guy Condra; daughter, Cindy Condra; two sons, Scott Condra and his wife, Kristen, and Craig Condra and his wife, Angie; three grandchildren, A.J., Emily, and Nathaniel Condra; one sister, Joanie Flynn; one aunt, Sherlee Hendrickson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in loving memory of Jolene may be made to First United Lutheran Church, 3481 Campus Loop Road, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
