

Logan Franklin Woodall, age 88, of Powder Springs, GA passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Monday, April 13, 2026 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm prior to the ceremony at the funeral home.
Logan was born on May 26th, 1937, in Cedar Bluff, Alabama, to Harvey and Vivian Woodall. He graduated from Cedar Bluff High School in 1955. He served in the United States Army from 1959-1961 in Germany. He retired after a long career from L&N and CSX Railroad in 1994. He was also a long-time member of Powder Springs United Methodist Church, and he loved fishing, traveling, working in the yard, spending time with his family, and helping others.
He is predeceased by parents, Harvey and Vivian; his wife, Marjorie Isley Woodall; son, Blaine Woodall; grandson, Jackson Desenberg; and great-grandson Carter Woodall.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim Manley of Howey in the Hills, FL, and Lorin (Ken) Desenberg of Powder Springs, GA; son, Kirk (Patti) Woodall of Canton, GA; grandsons, Nick Desenberg, Alex Woodall, and Brad Woodall; granddaughters, Citabria Howell, Ariel Nolte, Piper LaRue, Madelyn Woodall, Elizabeth Desenberg, Rachel Schaffer, and Sarah Woodall; great-grandchildren, Logan, Quinn, Mason, and Charlotte, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta @ Pediatric Healthcare ' Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
