Marian S. Brown

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Bradley Brown and Dr. David Chauncey officiating. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta.

Mrs. Brown was born in Sheperdsville, KY and lived in Marietta since 1977. She and her husband, Rev. Ernest E. Brown, Sr., were missionaries in the Bahamas from 1963 to 1977. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, was a church organist and taught piano for over 60 years. while in the Bahamas, she organized and directed the 100 voice United Baptist Choir.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Ernest E. Brown Sr. of Marietta; one daughter, Faith Brown Ossmann of Alpharetta; two sons, Ernie Brown of Ranger, GA, Paul C. Brown of Los Angeles, CA; five grandchildren, Jesse Brown, Jared Brown, Jacob Brown, Grant Ossmann, Parker Ossmann; one great-grandson, Ian Brown; several nieces and nephews.
