Martha Pauline Clegg

Martha was born at Kennestone Hospital and spent her life living in Marietta. Surrounded by a loving family, she could light up a room with her presence. An avid Braves fan, she rarely missed watching them play. Martha was a UGA Bulldog supporter as well. Her love of sports led her to participate in the Special Olympics as an athlete playing softball, bowling, bacci, and swimming. Everyone was loved by Martha and she never met a stranger.

Martha is survived by 3 sisters, Joan Waits (Charles A), Cynthia Franklin, Sherry Clegg; niece, Alisa Waits West (Wayne); nephew, Charles M Waits (Lillian); and several other great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 27 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM followed by a service at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral home in Marietta. Burial will take place following the service at Kennesaw Memorial Park on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta, GA
