Mary Anna Vickers, age 93, of Marietta, passed away November, 28, 2025. She was born January 7, 1932, in Marietta, the daughter of Verlin B. and Anna Durham McConnell. She was a graduate of McEachern High School and later retired from Southern Polytechnic State University.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Leon Vickers and her son, Robert Steven Vickers.
Survived by her children, David Mark (Julie) Vickers, Sr.; Cheryl Kochensparger; grandchildren, David Mark (Sophia) Vickers, Jr., Dr. Robert Favrot Vickers, Christopher Blackburn Vickers, Michael Freret (Taylor) Vickers, Robert Lee Kochensparger, III; great granddaughter, Sarah May Vickers; sisters, Allene McConnell Hill, Virginia McConnell Rampley; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11 AM in the chapel of Mayes Ward Dobbins, Historic Marietta, Funeral Home with interment to follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park.
