Raymond T. Stowe

Mr. Raymond “Ty” Stowe, age 76 of Powder Springs, died Thursday, August 31, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Cindy Blocksidge officiating.

Mr. Stowe was a graduate of Osborne High School. He was member of McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church. Mr. Stowe worked as an engineer for 27 years before retiring with Bellsouth. He was a member of the Samuel S. Lawrence Masonic Lodge and was a Yaarab Shriner. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the 7th Georgia Division of the Reenactors Association.

Mr. Stowe is survived by his wife of 53 years Mary Anne Stowe of Powder Springs; son Tony Stowe of Powder Springs; daughter Kim Stowe of Newnan; and sister Lynn Harburn of Dallas.

The family will recieve friends at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta on Saturday, September 2nd from 5 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wellstar Community Hospice c/o Wellstar Foundation, 805 Sandy Palins Road, Suite 100, Marietta, GA 30066- Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain.
