Robert was born on November 5, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois.
He is preceded by his parents; and siblings, Elmer, Eugene, Richard, and Louise.
Mr. Claiborne is survived by his loving wife of many years, Frances Claiborne; children, Carol Claiborne, Robert Claiborne Jr., Debra McRae, and Ron Claiborne; four grandchildren; three grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held for Mr. Claiborne in Marietta, Georgia at Carmichael Funeral Home (1130 Whitlock Ave NW), on Friday, April 28. The visitation will be held at 11AM followed by service at 1PM. Entombment will immediately follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
