Born August 27, 1927 in New York City, he was the son of the late Lucille Morris Suhr. He was predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Mary; son, Robert Jr.; daughter, Mary; and brother, Phil. He is survived by daughters and son-in-laws, Nancy and David Hunter and Lindy and Bubba Wyche; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sally Suhr; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Marietta.
Service honoring Red's love for the Lord will be held at First Presbyterian on Friday, April 17 at 4:00 pm.
Family will receive friends before the service at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 189 Church Street, Marietta, GA 30060.
Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta will be handling the arrangements.
