

Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 6, at First United Methodist Church, 56 Whitlock Avenue, in Marietta with Rev. Dr. Sam Matthews officiating. Interment will be private at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Reception will be held at Winnwood following the service.
Ross was born in Woodstock on July 21, 1921 to Ross N Reeves Sr. of Woodstock and Linda Cochran of Atlanta. The family moved to Marietta and Ross graduated from Marietta High School in 1938. He was associated in business with his father until he entered the U.S. Army Air Corps.
Ross married Imogene Sims in Montgomery, AL in January 1943. After leaving the service, he moved his family to Marietta and re-joined his father in the family business, Reeves Feed & Seed Store. His wife passed away in January 1985. Ross married Imogene Watkins of Marietta in September 1986.
Ross Reeves was a small business owner acquiring Reeves Feed & Seed Store from his father. He later expanded, opening a second business, Reeves Garden Shop, in Smyrna. Ross was active in Marietta as a businessman and as a member of the community. He was a member of Marietta Country Club, Civitan Club, Kiwanis Club, and active in the First United Methodist Church.
Ross is survived by his wife, Imogene W Reeves; his sister, Virginia Bishop of Marietta; five children, Ross Reeves III (Rusty) of Asheville, NC, Dianne Weeks of Marietta, Priscilla Moss of Canton, Pat Jenkins of Marietta, and Alan Watkins of Marietta; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to The First United Methodist Church “Restore to Glory” Building Fund, 56 Whitlock Avenue SW, Marietta, GA 30064.
