Funeral service will be 3 PM Saturday, June 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Norm Markle officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
A native of Thomasville, Georgia, Mr. Cassidy lived in Kennesaw since 1960. He worked for the FAA as a Radar Technician for 41 years before retiring. Mr. Cassidy was a member of Kennesaw United Methodist Church in Kennesaw.
Survivors include:
daughter and son- in law- Susan and Scott Seed of Acworth; daughter Kathleen Clark of Philadelphia, PA; sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Hope Cassidy of Wetumpka, AL; Alan and Rebecca Cassidy of Acworth; son Michael Cassidy of Acworth; brother and sister- in law-Ernest and Doris Cassidy of Marietta; sister Dorothy Gibson of Thomasville, GA; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
