Cecelia Ann Hundley

Cecelia Ann Hundley, 85, of Bassett, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Stanleytown Health and Rehab Center where she was a resident. She was born in the Snow Creek Community of Franklin on October 20, 1927 to George Francis Hundley and Sally Bousman Hundley. She retired from DuPont with over 30 years of service and was a member of Starling Avenue Baptist Church where she served as church librarian.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Donley, Frances Ferguson, Hazel Gregory and Erma Johnson; six brothers, George, Jake, Virgil, Cecil, Claude and Wayne Hundley.

Cecelia is survived by one sister, Nellie Minter of Martinsville; one brother, Walter Hundley of Texas and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 2:00 PM at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. Dr. David Adkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Snow Creek Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at McKee-Stone Funeral Home and other times at the home of her sister, Nellie Minter, 61 Dyers Store Road, Martinsville.
