Daniel Herbert Swain Jr.

Daniel Herbert Swain Jr., 56, of Martinsville passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018. He was born in Martinsville VA on December 7, 1961 to the late Daniel Herbert Swain Sr. and Jeannette Belton Swain. Daniel is survived by his wife, Notra McGrady Swain; sisters, Kimberly Coggin (Todd), Pamela Sue Swain (Talmage); nephew Steven Coggin; and niece Kelly Lineberry. Mr. Swain was the owner and operator of D and J Machine shop. He was an antique car enthusiast and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He supported several organizations with his talents. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at McKee-Stone Funeral home with Pastor Karl Luff and Reverend Calvin Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home.
