Deborah Riddle Akers

Deborah Kay Riddle Akers, 62, of Axton passed away on April 29, 2017. She was born in Axton on April 14, 1955 to Benjamin Carroll Riddle and Era Flippen Riddle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jacob Akers III and a brother, Martin Riddle. Mrs. Akers was the owner of Akers Bookkeeping and Tax Service. She was a member of Clearview Gospel Missions. She enjoyed cooking and shopping. She is survived by her son, Larry Riddle (Brandy Nuckles); sisters, Phillis Lawson (Harold) and Bertha Hutchens (Elmo); brother, Benjamin “Bennie” Riddle; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at McKee-Stone Chapel. Burial will be at the Riddle Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at McKee Stone.
