

Doris was retired from Laurel Park School where she served as a cafeteria worker for twenty-six years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Erva Kidd Webb, and her brothers, Elder Robert Fulton Kidd, Jr., Lewis Edward Kidd, and James Otis Kidd.
She is survived by her husband, Delmas Lee Moore; a daughter, Sheila Moore Turner (David); two sons, Tommy Moore (Cindy) and Dale Moore (Melissa); sisters, Lorene Gilley, Betty Ruth Nichols and Marie Parker; brothers, William Wesley Kidd and Douglas Stokes Kidd, Sr.; two grandchildren: Bryan Moore and Brittany Moore Cioffa (Tom); great-grandchildren, Madison “Tootie” Hazelwood, step-grandchildren, Joshua Durham, Kayla Osborne and Hayleigh and Nathan Turner; step-great-grandchildren, Justice and Bella Cioffa and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doris was a lifelong member of Good Home Primitive Baptist Church of Axton and a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Axton Volunteer Fire Department.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville and other times at the home. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 7, 2016, at 2:00 PM at McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor David Hatcher, Elder Kenney Bowles and Elder Jamie Hancock. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
Pallbearers are Tommy Moore, Dale Moore, Bryan Moore, Kevin Parker, Mark Webb, David Turner, Tom Cioffa, Barry Kidd, Jeff Bray, Tim Moore, Jimmy Ashworth and Doug Kidd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the Axton Volunteer Fire Department.
