Eleanor Marshall Woody, 97, of Martinsville, VA passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 19, 2015. She was born in Charlotte Courthouse, VA on June 13, 1918 and worked as an Executive Secretary for Hercules in Hopewell. She loved her family and friends and the beautiful State of Virginia. She is survived by her sister, Betty Gehr, nieces and nephews, Blair Fredstrom, Paige Beville, Claudia Beville, Donna Barry, Sara Gehr Kvaas, Anne Coogan-Gehr,
Bill Foulke, John Gehr, and Ellen Ruane
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 8 at 2 PM in the Kings Grant Victory Chapel. Remembrances for Miss Woody can be made to the Kings Grant Residential Community.
