

Josephine Glazar Comer, 84, of Devonshire Drive in Ridgeway, died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Primero, Colorado on October 29, 1926 to Antony and Josephine Zupiye Glazar. She was employed by DuPont where she retired in April of 1985. She was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Glazar and a brother, Joseph Glazar.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jack O. Comer of the residence; a daughter, Patricia Thurman of Axton; a son, Tony G. Comer of Ridgeway; a brother, Tony Glazar of Colorado; four grandchildren, Dean Comer, Michael Freeman. Dustan Thurman and Ron Turner; six great-grandchildren, Jakob Comer, Charlie Comer, Dillon Freeman, Ashlee Turner, Josh Turner and Ben Turner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel with the Rev. Barry Crumpton officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel and other times at the residence.
