Karen Denise Moore Roberts

Karen M. Roberts, 55, of Axton, Va. passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024. She was born in Martinsville, Va. October 10, 1968 to Paul Moore and Joyce Pruitt Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, “Kat” Moore. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Hayzlett (Robert Smith); son, MacKenzie Hayzlett; 9 grandchildren, Leslie Smith, Disney Whitt, Maleah McBride, Dustin Hayzlett, Daenerys Smith, Kaleigh Hayzlett, Ashlynn Hayzlett, Alexandria Hayzlett and Madison Hayzlett; sisters, Rhonda Hutcherson and Donna Gayle; brother, Gary Robertson; daughter-in-law, Jessica L. Hayzlett; many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Karen loved her family, especially her grandchildren and she was known as “Granny” to her family and close friends. She enjoyed coloring, arts and crafts. She really enjoyed home cooked meals, as well as going out to eat. Her favorite color was orange. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home and will be officiated by Pastor Bud Sedwick.
