Macell Hall Martin

Maecell Hall Martin, 88, of Martinsville, Virginia, died Friday, December 12, 2014 at Blue Ridge Rehab Center, Martinsville. She was born in Patrick County, Virginia on April 8, 1926 to Charlie McKinley Hall and Bertha Foley Hall Marshall. She was a homemaker and member of Whites Chapel Baptist Church since 1948.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Martin and her sister, Jean H. Bell and her brothers, Ben Hall, Leonard Duel Hall and Charlie Junior Hall.

Surviving are her son, Thomas Lewis Martin of Kannapolis, NC, her sisters, Milcie H. Wimbish Arnold of Lynchburg, VA, Minnie H. Bell of Martinsville,VA, Marie H. Spangler of Meadows of Dan, VA, Maxine H. Wood of Liberty, NC and Louella H. Willis of Bassett, VA, her brother, Otis Hall of Bassett, VA, her granddaughter, Erin Martin Parker and two step grandchildren, Jesse and James Collins.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 15, 2014, at 1:00 PM at McKee-Stone Funeral Home –Martinsville Chapel with Rev. George Hearn officiating.

Interment will follow at Whites Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ridgeway.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
