Margaret Louise White

Margaret Louise White, 75, of Axton passed away Monday, June 8, 2020. She was born December 19, 1944 to George Irvin Bowles and Mabel Pearl Riddle Bowles. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Janie Adkins and Iris Gilbert; brother, Melvin Bowles. She is survived by her daughters, Vickie Shively and husband Randall, Retha McGuire and her husband Jimmy; son Billy Dean White and his wife Donna; sisters, Marie Hundley and Nancy Adkins; brother George Everett Bowles and his wife Reita; 6 grandchildren, Brandon Shively, Katie Dowling, Ginny Haynes, Deana Ferguson, Whitney Hernandez and Jade Edwards and 13 great grandchildren, Reagan Shively, Grayson Shively, Ayden Haynes, Natalie Curry, Westyn White, Ryder Ferguson, Sebastian Allen, Seth Allen, Annabelle Edwards, Jeremy Edwards, Charlotte Edwards, Morgan Dowling and Madison Dowling. Mrs. White loved her family especially her mother and her grandchildren. She also loved Bryers Vanilla Bean ice cream, being outside, fishing, and being at the lake. She was a great cook. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Dean White. Interment will be at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at McKee-Stone. The family will also receive friends at the home of Dean White located at 8655 Old Chatham Road, Axton.
