Marguerite Haynes Thompson

Marguerite Haynes Thompson , 92, of Martinsville passed away on March 29, 2019. She was born on September 4, 1926 to the late Robert Lee Haynes and Clyde Mildred Griffis Haynes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter Connie McDaries Keys and four grandchildren, Toni K. Frazier, Raymond G. Keys, Jr., Melanie K. Thomasson and Christopher N. Keys. Mrs. Thompson was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville and was a graduate of Virginia School for the Blind and Burlington Business College. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019 at McKee-Stone Chapel with interment to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.
