Michael Eugene Nichols

Michael Eugene Nichols, 62, of Fieldale died Saturday, May 12 at Sovah Health in Martinsville. He was born in Martinsville on February 8, 1956, to Winford Eugene Nichols and Betty Ruth Kidd Nichols. Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, Robert A. and Lucy Holt Nichols; and his maternal grandparents, Robert F. Kidd, Sr. and Hester Wilson Kidd. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Clark E. Nichols (Shanon); a niece, Penny Wood; and a nephew, Joey Nichols. The family will receive friends at McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville, from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 15. A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 16 at Roselawn Burial Park, officiated by Rev. Timothy Nichols.
