Mildred Flippin Cox

Mildred Flippin Cox, 91, of Martinsville passed away on January 22, 2019. She was born August 4, 1927 in War, West Virginia to the late Walter Henry Flippin and Essie Martin Flippin. She was also predeceased by her husband; Harry Grady Cox, sister; Louise F. Vipperman, brothers; Tommy, Walter, and James Flippin. Mrs. Cox is survived by her daughters; Susan C. Henderson (Darrell), and Sharon C. Ayers (Tim), both of Martinsville, sister; Hester F. Boggs of Pensacola, Florida, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McKee Stone Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 12:00 noon at McKee-Stone Funeral Home with Reverend Merle Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
