Aunt Nancy, David and Ed...sending our love and condolences to all of you. Uncle Bobby was there with us when we lost daddy...always soft spoken and loving to all of us. Feel sad we didn’t get to see you all more being we are all in Georgia now.
May God bless you all and help you through this difficult time.

Much Love...Helen, Kathy, Randy, Hope, Logan and Brooklyn.

Bob was a true gentleman and man of his word. He was of the school of doing business on a handshake and he always delivered.
It was a true pleasure working with him over many years. Miss those days.

I remember going to M.O.S. with my grandfather when I was very young, I remember running through the store both while it was open and after hours. I remember sitting at his desk and acting like I was the boss. I remember David's shoppe up the stairs on the otherside of the building. I remember hand squeezed o.j., frozen blueberries, Trampus and of course muffin. I remember the beach house and all of the hurricanes, most importantly, I will always remember you!

To the Canupp family,
Mr. Canupp was a long time business friend and considered family by the Haynsworths. Bob worked with my grandfather "Charles Sr". and purchased M.O.S. during "Charles Sr's" declining health. I know "Bob" will be missed in the community but his memory will live on in our hearts. Our prayers are with all of the Canupp family during this time of loss.

I am John Thompson's daughter. My dad was worked for Martinsville Office Supply from '57-'75. Bob was always very good to our family. He was exceptionally helpful to my mom when our dad died. Actually, both of your parents were very kind to help my mom.
My mom, Manota , is 95 and lives in a nursing home in Martinsville. I will be sure to tell her about Bob. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.I've enclosed a picture of your dad. My dad is standing in the background, behind Bob, near the poster.

For over twenty years as my landlord (over MOS), Bob always was friendly and helpful. As a coworker (at McKee-Stone), he wanted to assist and console grieving families. As a friend, we worshiped together and shared joys of family relationships. Bob always saw the best in people. I am grateful to have had him and his family in my life. Rest in peace, my brother.
Nancy, Lucy and I love you and share your loss.
