Roslyn Lawrence Roberson

Roslyn Lawrence Roberson, 78, of Martinsville, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Henry County, June 25, 1935 to Edgar Jennings Lawrence and Frances Eanes Lawrence. Roslyn was a graduate of Axton High School and retired from Centel/Sprint Telephone Company with over 36 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her grand-children and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy. She was also involved in the March of Dimes Walks for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos H. Roberson.

She is survived by her daughter, Anna Maria Ogle (Joey) of Martinsville; her son, Kregg Roberson (Donna) of Stuart; sister, Nancy Lawrence Draper (David) of Martinsville and brother, James Robert Lawrence (Mary Frances) of Eden, NC; grandchildren, Vikki Antille, W. T. Setliff, Maria Roach, Joshua Setliff, Jeremiah Ogle, Casey Ogle, Kyle Ogle, Chris Roberson and Sarah Roberson; great-grandchildren, Kali Hall and Jackson Ogle.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. Jim Satterfield officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the funeral service at McKee-Stone Funeral Home.
