Thelma Gray Corns, 75, of Martinsville, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in Martinsville. She was born in Patrick County, July 22, 1936 to Brockley M. and Fannie Heath Gray. She was a graduate of Stuart High School and retired from DuPont.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James (Frankie) Corns and her twin sister, Elva G. Bary.
She is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Corns Cassell and husband, John of Martinsville; one sister, Louise G. Davis of Stuart; one brother, Billy Jack Gray and wife Lilla of Stuart and two grandchildren, Ashton and Brock Cassell.
A memorial service will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Minnie’s Chapel Wesleyan Church in Stuart with the Rev. Brian Custer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
