Virginia Adams Patterson

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Joseph R. Patterson; daughter, Dawn Patterson; and sister, Frances A. Wheeler.

She is survived by her son, Bryan Patterson (Becky); daughter, Marie Evans (Jon); sister, Dorothy Mason; brother, Jesse (Danny) Adams; grandchildren, Erin Patterson, Jacob Evans, Daniel Evans and Sherri Smith. Mrs. Patterson is also survived by her beloved great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted member of Trinity Baptist Church. She had also worked at McCabe Baptist Church for over 25 years. Virginia loved traveling, cooking and reading her Bible. She loved her family and was a foster parent for many years.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home and will be officiated by Reverends Jim Steele and Lewis Harris. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times at the home.
