Alfred “Vince” McCann, 87, died October 19, 2014 in Holt, MI. He was born July 20, 1927 in Detroit, MI to Oliver and Eva (Carlson) McCann. Alfred was very active with First Presbyterian Church in Lansing. He was a veteran of the Army Reserve and Coast Guard. Alfred worked with the Department of Natural Resources. He had a love for golf. Alfred is preceded in death by his brother Edward McCann. He is survived by his wife Marge; brother Rod (the late Rudi) McCann; sister-in-laws Vivian and Helen McAleer; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2914 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI with the Rev. Stanley Jenkins officiating. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery immediately following. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
