Mason, MI formerly of Dearborn
Born March 28, 1937 in Highland Park, MI and passed away April 1, 2012 in Lansing. After living and working most of her life in the Dearborn area, she and her husband, Deano moved to the Mid-Michigan area after their retirement from the Dearborn public schools. She and Deano were married 54 ½ years and had three children: Dianne (Gordon) Thomson of Seattle, WA, Michael (Lori) Carreri of Pleasant Lake, MI and Christopher (Dawn) Carreri of Milford, MI; 4 grandchildren; Ruben Carreri, Elliot Thomson, Rachel Carreri and Angela Carreri. Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, M.E. “Hap” and Dorothy Swanson and sisters, Diane Coutoumanos and Sharon Chapski. A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Mason, 201 E. Ash St., Mason on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dwayne Bagley officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Mason.
