She was born to Sydney "Doc" Marion Ray and Ruth Ray on September 29th, 1928. After graduating from high school, Ellene met her husband, Lavern J Lenon. Together, they had 3 children: Sharon, James, and Brenda.
Ellene was a strong and independent soul trying her hand at modeling in her younger years and being known to travel across the country alone by train to help her sister. Ellene worked in Detroit as well as Kentucky for the company responsible for the building of the atomic energy plant. Ellene was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, involved in the Ladies auxiliary Well Drillers association, and later volunteered at the Mason area Historical Museum. Ellene loved her time with family and friends, baking for her loved ones while loving her sweet treats to the very end.
Ellene is survived by her Daughter Sharon Lenon, Daughter in law Judy Lenon, Grandchildren Jennifer Blakeley, James Lenon Jr., Rebecca Chamberlain, Brian Rodriguez and Ben Rodriquez and many cherished great grandchildren. Ellene was preceded in passing by her Husband Lavern Lenon, Sisters Louvain Hall and Reva Taylor, Son James Lenon and Daughter Brenda Lenon.
