Joan Hayhoe

Joan Hayhoe, born October 9, 1933 to Leon and Vaneta (Lawrence) Ketchum in Fitchburg, Michigan passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at her home with her husband and children at her bedside. Joan graduated from Mason High School and married Lloyd Hayhoe Jr.; last year they celebrated 65 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd; four children, John (Gail) Hayhoe, Steve Hayhoe of Holt, Bill (Deb) Hayhoe of Mason, and Mary Hayhoe of Hawaii; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and her sister, Dorothy Mull of Mason. A Celebration of her life will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Ball Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI with the Reverend Dr. Harold DeMott officiating. Interment will follow in her family plot at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, MI. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
