Age 83, born March 14, 1929 in Ann Arbor, Michigan passed away on October 6, 2012. Keith, the son of H. Hugh and Mae Viola (Stanton) Wallace, was a resident of Michigan most of his life. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS Woodson. Keith enjoyed his involvement with the Mason Kiwanis Club, and served as past President there. He was well known for his love of carving, belonging to many carving clubs. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed people and community services. In his earlier years, he was very active with the Boy Scouts of America, and was a member of a Barber Shop Quartet. Keith enjoyed the different acting rolls he played in the community plays, he loved singing in the choir at the church’s where he was a very active member, and will be deeply missed by his church family and all who knew him.
Keith is survived by his 5 step-daughters; Susan (David) Winkelstern, Rebecca (Salvatore) Zambito, Diane (Kevin) Pierce, Sherri Gilpin, LeeAnn (Terry) Estes, his 2 sons; Mark D. (Debra) Wallace, and Scott K. Wallace, his step son; Michael Gilpen, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives; Phyllis (1987), Wandajane (2001), JoAnn (2012), son Brian E. Wallace (2008); and sister; Linda L. Wade (2012).
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Unity Spiritual Renaissance, 230 South Holmes, Lansing, MI 48912 with the Rev. Kate Demougin officiating.
